My name is Spitfire (They/She) and I’m a performance artist originally from Ruston, Louisiana. Since relocating to Chicago 10 years ago - I’ve been tumbling, flying, dancing, and teaching around Chicago! I’ve been fortunate enough to perform with Gorilla Tango Burlesque (if you know, you know), Kiss Kiss Cabaret, Aloft Circus Arts, and the Belmont Burlesque Revue. These days I can be found at Untitled Supper Club, Bordel, and other venues in and around Chicago.
I love storytelling through creative movement and am passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge of theatre, noodling (not the Catfishing technique), tumbling, aerial arts, and body weight resistance conditioning. I earned my MA in Theatre from Louisiana Tech University, have a background in competitive gymnastics, and am embarking on my fifth year of training at Aloft Circus (and undergoing teacher training). I currently teach various circus disciplines at Aloft Circus Arts and MSA.
In my spare time, I love taking pole classes at the Brass Ring (highly recommend), cooking, and hanging with my partner and two amazing puppers- Lord Pumpernickel and Princess Bailey.
